Nosana Grants Program Welcomes AiMo Network
AiMo is building a permissionless AI access layer designed to connect humans and autonomous agents with AI models, tools, and services without centralized control, censorship, or geographic restrictions. As part of the grants program, AiMo will leverage Nosana’s GPU infrastructure to support image and video generation workloads within its platform.
This collaboration reflects a shared commitment to open, composable, and agent-native AI infrastructure.
About AiMo Network
AiMo Network is developing a permissionless routing layer for AI access. The platform enables both humans and AI agents to discover and interact with AI models and tools through a unified, censorship-resistant interface.
Routing layers have become very popular in the last year, The “universal adapter model” pioneered by OpenRouter, has changed the landscape of how developers access AI models. Now with one API key developers can access hundreds of models from dozens of providers.
AiMo network is pushing this idea even further by combining a permissionless API, pay-per-request mechanics via x402, and an agent-native design, AiMo aims to remove traditional gatekeepers from AI access and enable global participation in the AI economy.
This allows them to build a routing layer on the protocol level, allowing agents themselves to be able to purchase their own compute on a per request basis. Allowing them to purchase access to the most efficient AI model for the job at hand.
Mission: Bring permissionless AI to everyone.
What AiMo Is Building with Nosana
Through the Nosana Grants Program, AiMo plans to integrate Nosana as one of its compute providers for image and video generation models.
Nosana’s distributed GPU network allows AiMo to:
-
Access flexible GPU compute without centralized cloud dependencies
-
Support scalable inference for media generation use cases
-
Maintain transparency around execution and infrastructure usage
-
Access cheap GPU compute, allowing them to offer cheaper inference to their customers compared to their competitors
This integration supports AiMo’s broader goal of offering open, neutral infrastructure that can be reliably used by both humans and autonomous agents.
Why Nosana
Nosana provides a decentralized GPU marketplace purpose-built for AI workloads. Its permissionless architecture aligns closely with AiMo’s focus on open access, composability, and agent-native systems.
By building on Nosana, AiMo can experiment, iterate, and scale compute-intensive workloads while remaining aligned with decentralized infrastructure principles. AiMo can further build deeper integration on a protocol level of how their platform functions.
Supporting Builders Through the Nosana Grants Program
The Grants Program supports teams building real-world applications on decentralized compute infrastructure. AiMo Network’s selection as a grantee reflects the growing demand for permissionless, agent-native AI systems powered by open GPU networks.
We look forward to supporting AiMo as they continue building and deploying on the Nosana compute network.
